M.T. Vasudevan Nair's masterpiece novel 'Randamoozham', is potraying on big screen soon. The celebrated novel is going to be made into a film by veteran director Hariharan. M.T. is busy with working on the script.
As BigMs is always interested to work on Randamoozham. And the cast is almost finalised which Universal Star Mohanlal is potraying the role of Bheeman and MegaStar Mammootty as Duryodhanan. More about cast and crew details soon.
The veteran director knows that the expectations would be even greater than Pazhassi Raja because Randamoozham is regarded as one of the finest novels ever in Malayalam and has been translated to several Indian languages, including English. And also it highlights with joining of Mammootty and Mohanlal in a single flick. The novel narrates the story of the Mahabharata from the perspective of Bheema, the second of Pandu's five sons.
Hariharan is excited at the prospect of giving shape to M.T.'s Bheema, Draupadi, Kunti, Arjuna, Karna and others. Leading stars from different Indian languages will play them on screen. Randamoozham will just not be a Malayalam film, says the director. As per sources,Randamoozham shooting is planned to start from jan 15, 2012.
