B Unnikrishnan’s ‘Grand Master’ that was to be released on the 27th of April has postponed its release date to May 3rd. This is in view of another Mohanlal film ‘Tezz’ being released on the same day, and it was decided that one of the films be shifted ahead by a week!

This new film 'Grandmaster' features Universal Star Mohanlal will play a Police Officer with different mannerisms. Priyamani essays the female lead character. It is reported by the producer that its theme is very fresh and racy with lots of variety situations. This time,Mohanlal opts for an interesting slim avathar with grey sideburns to done the role of a police office in mid 40s,who happens to be a divorcee. Priyamani is associating with Mohanlal for the first as his wife cum lawyer.

‘Tezz’ on the other hand, has been directed by Priyadarshan and is expected to be an action thriller that is moulded in Hollywood style. Along with Mohanlal, the film has Ajay Devgan, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Sameera Reddy doing key roles. It will be release on 27th April. ‘Tezz’ has been produced by Ratan Jain.
