“GEETHANJALI” – the most anticipated Malayalam film of the year from ace director Priyadarshan. This psychological thriller has Mohan Lal playing the lead role.
The film will see Mohanlal play the character of Dr Sunny from the hugely successful 90′s Malayalam film “Manichithrathazhu” which was later remade into Tamil (Chandramukhi) and Hindi (Bhool Bhulaiyaa). Along with Mohan Lal, Innocent & Ganesh will also be reprising their characters. Shobhana, who won a National award for her role in Manichithrathazhu will be featured in a cameo role. The film also stars Madhu, Siddique, Nishan and marks the debut of yesteryear actress Menaka Sureshkumar’s daughter Keerthy Suresh
The music for the film has been composed by the highly acclaimed Vidyasagar. Lalgudi N. Ilayaraja, who won the National Film Award for Best Production Design in 2012, is handling the art department.
The film will have a Worldwide release from 14th November 2013.
