The Complete Actor Mohanlal's Kanal is all set to release on Oct 22nd. It's Directed by M Padmakumar and penned by Suresh Babu. The story of Kanal revolves around four people who are affected by recession in four different ways. A train journey from Cochin to Karwar becomes an important aspect of the movie were John David(Mohanlal) and Anatharaman(played by Anoop Menon) meets to burn the hot fragment of wood(Kanal). The genre of the movie is yet to be unveiled. Abraham Mathew is producing the movie under the banner of ‘Abaam Movies". Cinematography is by Vinod Illampally . Honey Rose, Sheelu Abraham will essay the female leads in the movie.

Loham - Release on Aug 20th
‘Loham’, the Ranjith-Mohanlal action thriller is all set to release On Aug 20. Spirit(2012) was the last film from the team which was a social satire that earned huge critical acclaims for both Ranjith and Mohanlal. Loham is going to be a really different script from Ranjith which will be using the star and actor in Mohanlal equally. Mohanlal once again twirls up his moustache and will be in full on full action mode. The superstar is back to doing what had earned him thunderous applause from fans all over Kerala- twirling his moustache, catchy one-liners and doing fist fights with mega-villains on screen.

Mythri Release on Jun 12th in Kerala
Mythri is a bi-lingual Indian social drama film made in Kannada and Malayalam languages written and directed by B.M Giriraj and produced by N. S. Rajkumar under the banner of Omkar Movies.It features Mohanlal and Puneeth Rajkumar along with Archana, Atul Kulkarni and Bhavana in both versions. Ilaiyaraaja is scoring the music for the lyrics of H.S. Venkatesha Murthy and Baraguru Ramachandrappa in Kannada and Rafeeq Ahammed in Malayalam. Krishna Kumar handled the cinematography.The film is a social drama, and also focuses on relationships in the time of liberalization.
The Kannada version released on February 20, 2015 worldwide and garnered largely positive reviews from critics and audience. The film was praised for its strong script, realistic plot, acting and social message. Some critics called it one of the best films made in Kannada. The Malayalam version is scheduled to release on 12 June 2015 in Kerala.

Rasam Malayalam Movie Release on 23rd January 2015
Rasam is a Malayalam-language Indian feature film based on food, tastes, restaurants and catering services. Directed and co-written by Rajeevnath, produced under the banner of Group Ten Entertainments. The screenplay is done by Nedumudi Venu, Rajeev Nath and Sudip Kumar, while story is written by Sudip. It stars Mohanlal as himself and Indrajith Sukumaran in lead roles and Nedumudi Venu, Devan and Varuna Shetty in supporting roles. The film was shot in Qatar. Indrajith plays Balu, who is reluctant to take is father's tradition of cooking.
